DocWhale is built so that handling your documents requires as little of your data as possible. This page explains what happens to a file when you use a tool.
Your files
When you use a tool, your file is uploaded to our server only to perform the task you asked for. As soon as the result is generated and sent back to you, the original and the result are deleted. Anything left behind by an interrupted job is removed automatically within an hour. We do not read, store, share or sell your documents.
What we collect
- Basic, anonymous request information (such as which tool was used) to keep the service running and prevent abuse.
- No account is required, so we do not collect names, emails or passwords to use the tools.
Cookies & analytics
We use only what we need to operate the site. If we add privacy-friendly analytics, it will be aggregate and will not identify you or your files.
